War on Stroganoff: São Paulo bar removes Russian dish from menu in protest.

Forum Magazine The war in Ukraine is even affecting São Paulo's gastronomy. The traditional dish stroganoff, of Russian origin, will no longer be served at Bar da Dona Onça, in downtown São Paulo.
In protest against the conflict, chef Janaína Rueda, who runs the establishment, decided to remove the dish from the menu. "It will only return when the war is over," she says.
Janaína stated that the initiative was her way of drawing people's attention to the war between Russia and Ukraine. "But it's not a cancellation of Russia. It's more a way of saying that we are against whoever started this," the chief said.
