247- Governor Jerônimo Rodrigues authorized, this Sunday (8), the sending of a troop of 67 men and 3 women from the Military Police of Bahia to Brasília.

"Bahia is currently standing in solidarity with the Police and the National Forces. This is a great disrespect, and it has no place in the era of Democracy that we are building in our country," declared the governor.

70 military police officers from the Shock Battalion of the Military Police of Ceará also traveled to Brasília in the early hours of this Monday. "I wish everyone good luck and excellent work. I will go to Brasília today for a meeting with President Lula, governors and the presidents of the other branches of government. Our democracy is protected!", wrote the governor of Ceará, Elmano Freitas.

Governors in Brasilia

The governors of all states will meet this Monday (9) in the federal capital with the aim of preventing new anti-democratic acts from spreading across the country. The meeting of the governors with Lula was already scheduled for the same date to define joint agendas. However, the topic was changed to the management of the crisis caused by the acts of this Sunday.
