The state of São Paulo surpasses 8 deaths from the coronavirus.

The São Paulo State Health Department also reported that the ICU bed occupancy rate in the state is at 72,3%, while in Greater São Paulo it is at 84,7%.

With 282 new deaths recorded in the last 24 hours, the state of São Paulo now has 8.276 deaths from the new coronavirus. The number of confirmed cases reached 123.483. The information was released this Wednesday (3) by the São Paulo State Health Department.

The occupancy rate of intensive care unit (ICU) beds in the state is at 72,3%, while in Greater São Paulo it is at 84,7%. There are currently 4.527 people hospitalized in ICUs and 7.432 patients hospitalized in wards throughout the state of São Paulo.

The number of patients who have recovered after being hospitalized in state hospitals has reached 29 today.

Capital

In the city of São Paulo, according to Mayor Bruno Covas, there are 68.998 confirmed cases of coronavirus, with 4.305 deaths. 

The occupancy rate of ICU beds in the capital's municipal hospitals is currently at 63%.
