247 - Federal deputy Guilherme Boulos (PSOL-SP) criticized Jair Bolsonaro (PL) regarding the Yanomami indigenous people, who are suffering from problems such as severe malnutrition and malaria

"At least 99 children from the Yanomami people have died due to the advance of illegal mining in the region, according to a report from the Ministry of Indigenous Peoples. Does anyone honestly still think it's an exaggeration to say that Bolsonaro deliberately killed them?", he wrote on Twitter.

According to the Ministry of Indigenous Peoples, headed by Sônia Guajajara, 99 children from the Yanomami people died in 2022 due to illegal mining in the region. The ministry estimates that at least 570 children have died from mercury contamination, malnutrition, and hunger in recent years.

The Ministry of Health decreed public health emergency for taking care of the indigenous people.
