The Federal Court of Rio de Janeiro is auctioning off apartments, commercial spaces, and watches—valued at R$ 16 million—that belonged to three suspects accused of acting as advisors to former governor Sérgio Cabral (PMDB). The most valuable item belongs to Ary Filho, an advisor and financial operator for the PMDB politician; it's a 300-square-meter duplex on Barra da Tijuca beach, valued at R$ 5,4 million. Rio 247 - The Federal Court of Rio de Janeiro is holding, this Wednesday (11), the auction of apartments, commercial spaces and watches - valued at R$ 16 million - that belonged to three suspects of acting as advisors to former governor Sérgio Cabral (PMDB) in the criminal organization that, according to the Federal Public Ministry (MPF), embezzled millions from public coffers.
The most valuable asset belongs to Ary Filho, advisor and financial operator for the PMDB politician. It's a 300-square-meter duplex on Barra da Tijuca beach, valued at R$ 5,4 million. The condominium has a kind of water park.
Filho also owns three regular residential units, two commercial spaces, and another duplex (of 250 square meters), which costs R$ 4,2 million, in Barra. The building has a swimming pool, games room, tennis courts, children's playground, and barbecue area.
The other assets include a car belonging to Wagner Jordão Garcia, Cabral's former advisor, according to G1.
The luxury watches belong to Hudson Braga, who was the secretary of the former governor. The watches cost up to R$ 10, R$ 12 and R$ 14. The cheapest one was valued at R$ 700.
Cabral's mansion in Mangaratiba, speedboats, and jet boats were also to be auctioned off, but he appealed and obtained an injunction that postponed the sale.
