247 - Two minors assaulted two Slovakian tourists on Copacabana Beach, South Zone of Rio, this Wednesday (21). The women were seriously injured. One of them suffered a facial fracture. The information was published by G1 portal

According to Delegate Patrícia Alemany, from the Special Police Station for Tourist Support (Deat), the two women "went to the beach very early to see the sunrise." "That's when they were approached by the two minors who asked for money. They didn't give it to them, and the minors punched the victims," ​​she said. 

Military police arrested the minors on Avenida Atlântica, near Rua Hilário de Gouveia. The two robbers were taken to the 12th Precinct (Copacabana). The police recovered the stolen cell phone.

The women were treated at the Copacabana Emergency Care Unit (UPA) and then transferred to the Miguel Couto Municipal Hospital in Leblon, also in the southern part of the city.
