According to federal deputy Wadih Damous (PT-RJ), Operation Lava Jato served only to "break Brazilian companies and enrich thieves"; this week, Damous was in Spain with fellow federal deputy Paulo Pimenta (PT-RS), where they sought documents about Lava Jato and the JBS Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry and heard from Spanish lawyer Rodrigo Tacla Durán; Durán made accusations about the way in which plea bargains have been obtained by the Federal Public Prosecutor's Office and the use of manipulated spreadsheets and statements, inconsistent with the originals from Odebrecht's systems, for which he provided services between 2011 and 2016.

Rio 247 - According to federal deputy Wadih Damous (PT-RJ), Operation Lava Jato only served to "break Brazilian companies and enrich thieves," the congressman wrote on his Twitter profile. Damous and fellow federal deputy Paulo Pimenta (PT-RS) were in Spain, where they met with Spanish lawyer Rodrigo Tacla Durán.

The congressmen carried out a series of investigations in search of documents and testimonies related to Operation Lava Jato and the JBS Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry. The documents will be officially delivered to the Commission, including those concerning Andorra, the tax haven where Ricardo Teixeira operates.

There are more than an hour of recordings with lawyer Rodrigo Tacla Duran. Duran made accusations about the way in which plea bargains have been obtained by the Federal Public Prosecutor's Office and the use of manipulated spreadsheets and statements, inconsistent with the originals from Odebrecht's systems, for which he provided legal services between 2011 and 2016. Wadih and Pimenta submitted a request for Tacla Duran to be heard by the JBS Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry.
