Crivella announces gradual reopening of activities starting this Tuesday.

The reopening will be divided into six phases, each expected to last 15 days, provided the curve of coronavirus infections and deaths remains stable.

247 - The mayor of Rio de Janeiro, Marcelo Crivella (Republicanos) announced that the capital will ease social isolation measures starting this Tuesday (2). The reopening will be divided into six phases, with a planned duration of 15 days each, if the curve of coronavirus infections and deaths remains stable. 

According to the head of the municipal executive, all phases will be completed in August. Classes may resume in July. Information about what will happen in the six phases was published on... G1 portal

In the first phase, they will be reopened. Sports activities in training centers and on boardwalks, celebrations in churches (with disinfection protocols), activities at sea, such as swimming or surfing, furniture and decoration stores, and car dealerships. 

In the second phase, shopping malls will reopen between 12 pm and 20 pm, with movement restrictions and sporting competitions behind closed doors.

In the next phase, all businesses will reopen, with restrictions on movement, gyms with scheduling and social distancing, martial arts and dance without physical contact, bars and restaurants (at 50% capacity), daycare centers, CrossFit activities, schools (fifth and ninth grade without crowding), beaches and parks (without renting tents and tents), beauty salons, tattoo parlors and aesthetics, with restrictions, cultural activities in open spaces (without crowding) and sports competitions (with one-third of the audience). 

In the fourth phase, preschools and first and second grade classes will operate, along with activities in enclosed cultural spaces with capacity restrictions, and tourist attractions will operate at one-third capacity.

In the fifth phase, beaches and parks will be open (without crowding), schools (third and fourth grade) will reopen, and capacity restrictions will be reduced in almost all sectors, such as bars and cinemas.

In the sixth phase, the idea is for schools and universities to be open, without crowding.
