According to the fire department's press office, the work to remove a woman and two men, including the Supreme Federal Court (STF) minister, Teori Zavascki, began at midnight and ended at 1:40 am today (20).
The three bodies have already been sent to the Forensic Medical Institute of Angra dos Reis, which will identify the victims. Firefighters resumed rescue operations at 5:30 am to recover the other two bodies that remain inside the plane, those of a man and a woman.
The operation involves personnel from the Search and Rescue Group of Rio de Janeiro, the Paraty Fire Department, and the Port Authority.
According to the Civil Police, a team of forensic experts from the Carlos Éboli Institute of Criminalistics and fingerprint experts from the Felix Pacheco Identification Institute are conducting the forensic examination and assisting in the identification of the bodies. The investigation of the air accident is being handled by the Aeronautical Accident Investigation and Prevention Center (Cenipa).
