MBL coordinator considers abandoning the movement after sexist audios of "Mamãe Falei" (Mommy Said)
Renan Santos, one of the group's founders, is having difficulty seeing his next steps within the MBL.
By Guilherme Amado, in Metrópoles - MBL coordinator Renan Santos is considering leaving the movement after the release of sexist audios of Arthur do Val, a state deputy and then pre-candidate for governor of São Paulo. This assessment was shared on Monday (March 7th) at a meeting of the MBL leadership at the organization's headquarters in São Paulo. Arthur spoke little at the meeting.
According to reports, Renan, one of the group's founders, is having difficulty seeing his next steps within the MBL. At the meeting, members of the movement stated that all of the MBL's negotiations over the past two years had a single objective, which has now been undone: Arthur do Val's candidacy for governor of São Paulo.
