Cláudio Castro will be the only governor from the Southeast to participate in Lula's inauguration

The governor said the dialogue will be based on agendas and that the state needs help from the federal government in the areas of public safety and infrastructure.

Power Agenda A close ally of former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL), the re-elected governor of Rio de Janeiro, Cláudio Castro (PL), said this Sunday that attending the inauguration of president-elect Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) in Brasília is the fulfillment of a promise. Castro is expected to be the only governor-elect from the Southeast region to participate in the ceremony in the federal capital.

The governor said that the dialogue will be based on agendas and that the state needs help from the federal government in the areas of public safety and infrastructure.

When asked about Jair Bolsonaro's trip to Orlando, in the United States, days before Lula took office as President of the Republic, Castro stated that he is not a commentator on Bolsonaro's actions.
