Casagrande: "Haddad beat Tarcísio 7-1, who needs to explain himself regarding Paraisópolis"
The journalist praised Haddad's performance in the Globo debate and criticized Tarcísio: "there's no way we can vote for this guy, who wants to bring the militia system here."
247 - In your column Published on the Uol portal, journalist Walter Casagrande assessed the performance of Fernando Haddad (PT) and Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicanos) - candidates for the government of São Paulo - in the last debate before the elections, held by Globo this Thursday (28). Casagrande praised Haddad's participation and compared it to a football match:
"The professor [Haddad] gave a lesson on knowledge of the state [São Paulo] to a parachutist who landed here out of nowhere. A guy who's from Rio, was going to run for Senate in the state of Goiás and came to run for governor of São Paulo," he added.
>>> "Tarcísio orchestrated a farce in Paraisópolis to rig the elections," says Joaquim de Carvalho.
Casagrande harshly criticized the Bolsonaro-backed candidate who, in his opinion, showed a lack of preparedness to govern São Paulo. "He has no plan whatsoever, he doesn't know how to answer or explain anything. He stammered several times. He lies like his nefarious leader [Bolsonaro]."
The journalist was emphatic regarding Tarcísio's response to the Paraisópolis case, when the candidate's team asked the Jovem Pan cameraman to... Marcos Andrade He deleted the images he recorded of an ABIN agent and plainclothes police officers, from Tarcísio's own team, firing shots in Paraisópolis, in an action that killed an unarmed young man named Felipe Silva de Lima, 28 years old.
“Candidate Tarcísio said he asked for the images of the Paraisópolis shooting to be erased for security reasons. But, in reality, he wanted to erase the evidence, as Professor Haddad rightly said. What does Tarcísio want to hide? Tarcísio will need to explain the Paraisópolis case, which is becoming more serious and complicated for him every moment. There's no way we can vote for this guy, who wants to bring the militia system here. We, the people of São Paulo, will not allow it,” he concluded.
