247 - City councilors in São Paulo are holding a closed meeting with party leaders this Tuesday (5) to discuss the CPI targeting Father Júlio Lancellotti, from the Pastoral do Povo da Rua. The material, without proven authenticity, would have the religious figure as the protagonist. The parish priest denied that it is him in the recording and stated that it is adulterated content.

According to information published this Monday (4) by Panel columnThe Speaker of the House, Milton Leite (União Brasil), is expected to present all the material related to the case.

The material was obtained by councilman Rubinho Nunes (União Brasil), author of a request for a Parliamentary Inquiry Commission to investigate NGOs operating in the capital of São Paulo, and the religious leader was allegedly one of the targets.
