Power Agenda - Social media is full of videos taken by drivers and passengers surprised by the shootout between military police and criminals on Avenida Brasil and Linha Vermelha, near Cidade Alta. Both roads were closed in both directions, in the early afternoon of this Wednesday (12). Reports indicate that three people were shot.
A helicopter from the Air Mobile Group (GAM) of the Military Police was hit and made an emergency landing at the Navy Command in Penha.
The State Department of Public Security reported that two aircraft were hit, but corrected the information.
Two of the shooting victims were on a bus passing by. One of the injured was taken to Getúlio Vargas Hospital in Penha, in the North Zone, and the other two to Adão Pereira Nunes Hospital in Duque de Caxias, in the Baixada region. There is no information on their condition.
