Businessman lent two airplanes to the former governor of Rio de Janeiro for official and leisure trips; according to the investigation, Eike Batista also transferred R$ 1 million to the office of Sérgio Cabral's wife, Adriana Ancelmo, to launder bribes.

Report from Folha de S.Paulo It contains information from the Federal Police's International Traffic System, which records seven trips made by the couple on aircraft with registration numbers belonging to Eike's companies.
Of these, two were official trips and five were for leisure, made between 2009 and 2011. In a statement, Eike declared that he "made his plane available to the former governor." The legal representatives for Cabral and Adriana did not comment.
Eike was mentioned in Operation Calicute, which led to the couple's arrest on suspicion of receiving bribes in state construction projects, for allegedly transferring R$ 1 million to Adriana Ancelmo's law firm. According to the Federal Public Prosecutor's Office, the money was used to launder bribes.
