247 - Brazilian travel blogger and supporter of President Bolsonaro, Monique Aguiar, has been appointed by the Minister of Tourism, Marcelo Álvaro Antônio, as superintendent of the National Institute of Historic and Artistic Heritage (Iphan) in the state of Rio de Janeiro. 

The appointment to the position of technical coordinator of the Superintendency was published in the Official Gazette this Friday (17). The information is from columnist Guilherme Amado, from Época magazine.

IPHAN is a federal agency of the Brazilian government responsible for the preservation and dissemination of the country's tangible and intangible heritage. Its function is to defend and promote the country's cultural assets, guaranteeing their existence and enjoyment for present and future generations, and seeking to preserve the treasures of national culture.
