Benedita condemns Globo's massacre against Lula.

In a speech on the floor of the Chamber of Deputies, Representative Benedita da Silva (PT-RJ) criticized the extensive negative coverage that Jornal Nacional, on Rede Globo, promotes against the image of former President Lula; the parliamentarian cited a study by UERJ (Rio de Janeiro State University), which counted 13 hours of negative reports about Lula; "If we divide these 13 hours of onslaught by the number of days this news program airs, we will find that Jornal Nacional has practically created a segment, lasting 3 minutes and 31 seconds, to attack, defame and slander former President Lula every night. This segment has no name, but it could be called 'Massacring Lula'"; video

Rio 247 - In presenting a study by the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ) carried out between December 2015 and August 2016, federal deputy Benedita da Silva (PT/RJ) criticized, on the morning of this Wednesday (7), in the Chamber of Deputies, the negative coverage and the real "massacre" that Jornal Nacional, from Rede Globo, promotes against the image of former president Lula.

The congresswoman highlighted that, during that period, the news program aired 13 hours of negative reports about the former president, with not a single second of positive content.

"If we divide those 13 hours of massacre by the number of days that this news program airs, we will find that Jornal Nacional has practically created a segment, lasting 3 minutes and 31 seconds, to attack, defame, and slander former President Lula every night. This segment doesn't have a name, but it could be called 'Massacring Lula'."
