Patrícia and her current partner Rafael Machado were arrested last Friday (24), in Catete, in the South Zone of Rio. The couple is suspected of forcibly keeping the elderly Maria Aparecida Paiva, Patrícia's mother, hospitalized in two clinics in Petrópolis, in the Serra region.
According to the boy's maternal grandmother and paternal aunt, Patrícia is a "psychopath" and only retains custody of the boy because of the alimony.
"It's all surreal. Her own mother says she's a psychopath. Since 2020 there's been a court order for her to undergo a psychiatric evaluation. She's avoiding the exam, even knowing her own diagnosis. That's the only explanation. The court ordered everyone to undergo the exams and only she didn't," said Carina Atenna, the minor's paternal aunt.
Patrícia has already expressed her support for Jair Bolsonaro (PL) on social media and even posed with a gun and a t-shirt of the former president in front of a mirror.
