247 - TAV Brasil shareholders signed this Thursday (2) the authorization contract with the National Land Transport Agency (ANTT) for the construction of a high-speed rail line, the so-called bullet train, linking the city of São Paulo to that of Rio de Janeiro.

The project includes 378 kilometers (km) of railways linking the two capitals. The train will need to travel at 350 kilometers per hour (km/h) to meet the estimated travel time (one and a half hours).

Initially, there is an analysis of the so-called "conceptual project" and the technical specifications determined by ANTT. It was for this stage that TAV Brasil obtained approval from the agency.

TAV Brasil has a share capital of R$ 100. Created in February 2021, the institution's partners are Infra SA Investimentos, Global Ace Participações e Investimentos, lawyer Marcos Joaquim Gonçalves Alves, and former ANTT president Bernardo Figueiredo.
