Gabriel Monteiro's lawyer publishes a statement denying an affair with singer Jojo Todynho: 'legal action will be taken'.
The artist's ex-husband, Lucas Souza, said that she and the former city councilman had a relationship. The former Bolsonaro-supporting parliamentarian is currently in prison after being accused of rape.
247 - The lawyer for former Rio de Janeiro city councilman Gabriel Monteiro, Sandro Figueiredo, published a statement clarifying his position against Lucas Souza, the ex-husband of singer Jojo Todynho. Lucas accused the presenter of having had an affair with Gabriel, which he denied. The councilman was preventively arrested last November following rape accusations.
"Since there has never been an intimate relationship between Jojo Todynho and Gabriel, much less with any of his advisors," said a passage from the lawyer's statement, according to [source missing]. column F5From Folha de S.Paulo: "Given the falsehoods and crimes committed by Mr. Lucas Souza, all criminal and civil legal measures will be vigorously pursued by the singer's legal team so that he is held accountable for the crimes and damages caused."
According to the statement, "Lucas Souza aims not only for personal promotion, but also to assassinate the reputation of the singer Jojo, who has always had an upright, irreproachable and polished demeanor, with no blemish whatsoever involving her good name or her actions."
