247 - Candidate for governor of São Paulo, Fernando Haddad (PT) begins this Friday (2) a tour of events in the interior of the state, accompanied by former governor Geraldo Alckmin, now in the PSB and candidate for vice-president on the ticket headed by former president Lula (PT).
Ourinhos, Bauru, Jaú, Assis, Botucatu, and Avaré are on the itinerary, according to... State St. Paul...as well as Marília, which is the center of a region where Haddad faces resistance from voters, according to polls from the Workers' Party campaign. In this context, Alckmin enters the scene as a figure who can help Haddad win votes in the area.
While accompanying Haddad, Alckmin leaves Lula alone to campaign in the North of the country. The former governor, however, has the mission of rallying support from São Paulo mayors for Lula and, of course, for Haddad.
