"Do you think people from São Paulo are fools?", Boulos asks regarding Tarcísio's campaign wanting to erase images of the shootout in Paraisópolis.

A newly elected federal deputy criticized Tarcísio de Freitas after an audio recording surfaced in which a member of Bolsonaro's campaign pressured a cameraman to delete footage of the shootout in Paraisópolis.

247 - Congressman-elect Guilherme Boulos (Psol) used social media to criticize São Paulo gubernatorial candidate Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicanos) after an audio recording leaked in which a member of Tarcísio's campaign pressures a Jovem Pan cameraman to delete footage of the shootout that interrupted a campaign event in Paraisópolis, a favela in the southern part of São Paulo.

"Tarcísio's team ordered a cameraman to delete a video of a shootout in Paraisópolis. Does Tarcísio think the people of São Paulo are fools?", Boulos posted on Twitter.

The incident, recorded on October 17th, was exploited politically by Tarcísio's campaign and by Bolsonaro supporters.Those who treated the case as an "attack" against the candidate, despite the police stating on the same day that the exchange of gunfire had no relation whatsoever to the former minister's presence in the community.
