"All my alliances are public," says Dino.

The PCdoB candidate was interviewed on TV Mirante and questioned about having shared the stage with Aécio Neves and Eduardo Campos, and whether this might confuse voters; "All my alliances are public. I am very proud to be a candidate with a broad alliance," explained Dino; they were also asked if Dino would implement communism in Maranhão if he won the election; "I am a democrat, my party defended democracy. Goiás247 - Candidate Flávio Dino (PCdoB) was interviewed by TV Mirante on Friday night as part of a series of interviews with candidates for governor of the state.

Journalist Amanda Couto pointed out that Dino had previously campaigned for Eduardo Campos and Aécio Neves, and that photos of him alongside President Dilma Rousseff had been circulated. She asked if this didn't confuse voters.

"No. You saw the photos because all my alliances are public. What's confusing is saying one thing and doing another. I'm very proud to be a candidate with a broad alliance. Because this moment in Maranhão, turning the page, defeating this oligarchic empire that has been in place for 50 years, demands a broad alliance. So we are bringing together parties that support Dilma, that support Aécio, that support Marina. And I am very happy to welcome them all," the candidate explained.

Dino was asked if he would implement communism in Maranhão should he win the election. The candidate stated that this would imply repealing all Brazilian laws and "no governor can do that." "My commitment is to uphold the Constitution and the laws, and that is what will be done."

"I am a democrat, my party has defended democracy. And I don't understand why there is so much persecution, which even has the flavor of a military dictatorship," he said.
