Reporter forcibly kissed while covering Recife Carnival: 'I'm married' (video)
"Control yourself, woman," said journalist Rodrigo de Luna after being surprised by a kiss from a female reveler during his coverage of the Galo da Madrugada parade.
247 - Reporter Rodrigo de Luna, from TV Guararapes, an affiliate of TV Record in Recife, was surprised by a kiss given by a reveler when he was reporting on Galo da Madrugada, on Saturday (18).
The kiss happened while Rodrigo was showing the excitement of the revelers. "This one's ready," the reporter said. "I'm happy because I saw you!" the woman replied. Then, she grabbed the journalist's face and kissed him forcefully.
"The last time she did that, I almost got beaten up when I got home. Control yourself, woman," the journalist said, referring to another situation involving the same reveler, who had also allegedly kissed him during his coverage of a João Gomes concert. "He's married, but he's not castrated," the woman retorted afterward.
Many internet users took to social media to claim that the forced kiss could be classified as a case of harassment.
