247 - Model and student Gabrielly Moreira, 16, was found dead inside a house under construction in the city of Pedra Branca, in the interior of Ceará, last Friday (19). The information was released by the newspaper The time.
The teenager had left home hours earlier to meet friends at a bar, and according to the Civil Police, the case was registered as "cause of death to be clarified." According to family members' statements to the police, the friends who were with Gabrielly said that she had become ill and died at the scene. The Mobile Emergency Care Service (SAMU) was called, but the medical team only confirmed her death. The young woman's body was found in a house under construction, and it is still unknown how she got there.
Relatives of the teenager said they noticed purple bruises on the victim's body, raising suspicions about the version presented by her friends, who, according to them, gave contradictory information about Gabrielly's final moments. Witnesses claim that the model left the bar walking normally. So far, no one has been arrested.
Police are awaiting the results of the forensic report to determine the cause of death and advance the investigation. Gabrielly was well-known in Pedra Branca for participating in cultural events and beauty pageants. In August, she was crowned Queen of the Horseback Riding Event, a title that reinforced her popularity among the city's residents.
In a statement of condolence, the Municipality of Pedra Branca, through the Department of Agriculture, Livestock and Water Resources, highlighted that the teenager "was always synonymous with joy, charisma and dedication," being "an example for the youth of the entire community."
