Data Ilha survey crushes Roberto Rocha's ambitions.

A survey conducted by the Data Ilha Institute shows Senator Roberto Rocha (PSDB) facing significant difficulties should he decide to run for governor of Maranhão; the survey indicates the senator has only 2,2% of voting intentions, behind state deputy Eduardo Braide, of the PMN, who has 4,4%; the senator, who was expelled from the PSB, also faces serious difficulties within the PSDB.

By marrapa.com - Research released today (16) by the Data Ilha Institute showed that Senator Roberto Rocha (PSDB) does not have the clout to become a political leader, much less the votes to run for governor of Maranhão in 2018.

The results of the new survey showed the senator with only 2,2% of voting intentions. To give an idea of the size of the self-proclaimed "Airplane Wing," state deputy Eduardo Braide, from the tiny PMN party, reached double that (4,4%).

These numbers only prove the fact that Roberto currently holds the Senate seat because he received it as a gift from Governor Flávio Dino (PCdoB) in 2014, when the pair shared the same ticket.

The senator's lack of prestige is nothing new; he was expelled from the PSB and is currently rejected within his own party, the PSDB. Even his former ally, federal deputy André Fufuca, jumped ship, taking the PP with him into an alliance with the communists.

Without votes, without allies, and without a coalition. With these credentials, Roberto intends to venture into next year's elections.
