A survey conducted by the Exata Institute between December 12th and 17th shows Governor Flávio Dino's administration with a 61% approval rating; in the last survey by the same institute, in July 2016, the approval rating was 60%; after two years in office, Flávio Dino maintains the same approval rating that led him to the Palácio dos Leões (Governor's Palace) in 2014; the survey also reveals the disaster that is Michel Temer's (PMDB) government.
By Marrapá.com - Governor Flávio Dino has a 61% approval rating among the population of Maranhão. This is according to a survey conducted by the Exata institute between December 12th and 17th. 1.408 interviews were carried out across all regions of the state. The margin of error is 3,2 percentage points, plus or minus, with a 95% confidence interval.
In the last survey by the same institute, in July 2016, the approval rating was 60%. According to the new survey, 34% of Maranhão residents disapprove of the government, while 5% did not know or did not answer.
According to Exata, Governor Flávio Dino's personal performance is even better, reaching 63% of those interviewed. After two years in office, Flávio Dino maintains the same approval rating that led him to the Palácio dos Leões (Governor's Palace) in October 2014, when he was elected with 63,52% of the vote.
Even amidst the severe national economic and political crisis, which has led to a decrease in federal transfers to all Brazilian states and wear and tear on politicians, Flávio Dino has high levels of representativeness, since more than half of those interviewed consider the governor's image to be very positive or positive.
"Governor Flávio Dino demonstrates a great capacity for resilience to the general climate in the country, which is affecting the evaluation of governments. The levels of government approval and confidence in the governor are very high considering the current situation," the report highlighted.
Most people from Maranhão disapprove of the Temer government.
The same survey also assessed the performance of President Michel Temer, whose administration is disapproved of by 86% of Maranhão residents. Only 10% approve and 4% don't know.
