Flávio Dino's state of Maranhão shows the best performance in combating Covid-19.
The Federal District and Rio de Janeiro are the states with the worst ratings in the CLP ranking.
Forum Magazine - The state of Maranhão was identified as the state with the best performance in combating the new coronavirus in the Covid-19 Ranking of States, prepared by the Center for Public Leadership (CLP) last Tuesday (28) and revealed on Saturday (1).
The criteria considered by the CLP are: proportion of confirmed cases, logarithmic evolution of cases and percentage of mortality from Covid-19 and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndromes (SARS); transparency scores for the fight against Covid-19 prepared by Open Knowledge Brazil, as well as social isolation data from Google. The higher the final score, the worse the states' performance in tackling the pandemic.
While the state governed by Flávio Dino (PCdoB) registered only 25,31 points and came in "last place," the Federal District, governed by Ibaneis Rocha (MDB), scored 43,75 and presented the worst performance, leading the ranking of the survey.
