Lula leads with 60% in Paraíba, while Bolsonaro has 25%, according to a Vox Populi poll.
A face-to-face survey among voters in Paraíba also shows that in the spontaneous response category, Lula appears with 59% of mentions, while Bolsonaro has 25%.
247 - In-person survey conducted by the Vox Populi institute among voters in Paraíba, exclusively released by Brazil 247 this Friday (9), shows that former president and candidate Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) leads in the state with a wide advantage over Jair Bolsonaro (PL).
According to Vox Populi, Lula has 60% of the voting intentions in Paraíba. Bolsonaro comes in second, with 25%. Ciro Gomes (PDT) appears in third with 5% and Simone Tebet (MDB) has 1%. Other candidates total 1%. Blank and null votes total 4%, and undecided voters also account for 4%.

Lula has 63% of the preference among women in Paraíba and 57% among men, while Bolsonaro has 20% and 30%, respectively. The former president has 68% of the intentions among Catholics compared to Bolsonaro's 19%, but among Evangelicals, Lula trails Bolsonaro with 36% to 47%.
In a hypothetical second round, Lula would win with 65% of the vote, compared to Bolsonaro's 27%. Blank and null votes total 6%, and undecided voters make up 2%.
The Vox Populi survey interviewed 1.020 voters in person across 49 municipalities in Paraíba, between September 2nd and 5th, 2022. The margin of error is 3,1% plus or minus, and the confidence interval is 95%. The survey is registered with the TSE (Superior Electoral Court) under number BR-04946/2022.
