The government of Bahia has signed an agreement with Huawei and is beginning tests of software that detects the coronavirus.

The governor of Bahia states that the test will begin at the Itabuna Polyclinic and should last seven days.

247 - The government of Bahia has reached an agreement with the Chinese company Huawei, which developed software to evaluate CT scans of patients infected with the new coronavirus, Rui Costa (PT) announced on Wednesday evening, the 6th, in a live broadcast on Instagram. The governor of Bahia stated that the test will begin at the Itabuna Polyclinic and should last seven days.

“Yesterday I met with representatives from the company [Huawei] and they will allow us to see how the software performs. It has a 98% accuracy rate. If it works, we intend to expand it throughout Bahia.”
