From now on, micro and small businesses will benefit from the 'More Jobs' program and will be able to receive an incentive of R$ 500 for each new employee hired. Governor Flávio Dino signed a Provisional Measure this Wednesday (8) expanding financial support for micro and small businesses opting for Simples Nacional, aiming to contribute to raising the level of employability in the state.
The expansion of the 'More Jobs' program has the main objective of ensuring the generation of employment and work opportunities for the people of Maranhão, especially in the current economic context of national crisis. "When the economic cycle is recessive, and businesses tend to cut investments, the State must allocate resources to get the wheels of the economy turning again," argues Governor Flávio Dino.
With the change, micro and small businesses that opt for the Simples Nacional tax regime will receive financial support of R$ 500,00 per month for each new job governed by the Consolidation of Labor Laws (CLT). In other words, for each new formal employment contract that these establishments make, they will receive this amount – paid by the State Government – in cash every month.
