Mandatory amendments: Senators break agreement with mayors.
Senators Edison Lobão (PMDB) and Roberto Rocha (PMDB) used social media to publicly explain their maneuver of using half of the R$ 160 million in mandatory amendments for themselves; this is because they had previously signed an agreement with an entity linked to mayors, guaranteeing that they would prioritize projects from the municipalities.
By marrapa.com Senators Roberto Rocha and Edison Lobão used social media to publicly attempt to explain their maneuver of appropriating half of the R$ 160 million in mandatory amendments agreed upon by the Federal Delegation to aid municipalities in Maranhão. The problem is that the senators did not explain the scheme and limited themselves to attacking Governor Flávio Dino.
Both Edison Lobão and Roberto Rocha, as well as João Alberto, are maneuvering to break the agreement signed 10 days ago with Famem and want only R$80 million for themselves out of the R$160 million that would be allocated for investments in the health of the people of Maranhão.
Lacking arguments to explain the maneuver aimed at targeting the government and the people of Maranhão, the senators resorted to empty speeches against Governor Flávio Dino in an attempt to divert media attention.
The truth is that the senators are working against the people of Maranhão and are uniting to politically boycott Governor Flávio Dino and form a consortium to divert these funds for the purpose of next year's elections.
The only ones who lose with this latest selfish action by the senators are the people of Maranhão.
