MARANHÃO 247 - Congresswoman and pre-candidate for governor of the state for the PPS party, Eliziane Gama, met yesterday in Brasília with Senator and pre-candidate for President of the Republic, Aécio Neves (PSDB). On the agenda was an alliance between the PSDB and the PPS in Maranhão. The PSDB member committed to scheduling a meeting with the regional leadership of the party this week.

Eliziane Gama decided to expand negotiations to solidify an alliance with the PPS in Maranhão. In addition to meeting more than three times with the national president of the PSB, the governor of Pernambuco and also a pre-candidate for president of the Republic, Eduardo Campos, the congresswoman has now broadened the scope of discussions and met with Aércio Neves.

According to her, the meeting directly addressed a possible coalition between the two parties, given that there is a consolidated national alliance. "It's a national alignment," said Gama.

To move these discussions forward, the senator from the PSDB party assured the congresswoman that he will meet with the leadership of...

PSDB of Maranhão. As soon as this happens, a meeting will be scheduled between Eliziane and the party members.

In fact, the PPS pre-candidate has begun talks with the PSDB members in Maranhão. Last week, the congresswoman was in Imperatriz for a meeting with the city's mayor, Sebastião Madeira (PSDB). Before that, she had already met with the state president of the PSDB, Carlos Brandão; the vice-president, Pinto Itamaraty; and the congressmen, Neto Evangelista and Gardenia Castelo.

So far, Gama has not formed an alliance with any party for the elections.
