Cities in Rio Grande do Norte experience nights filled with shootings and arson attacks targeting businesses, vehicles, and public buildings.

The attacks took place in the capital, Natal, and in other cities in the state.

247 - A night of chaos and despair. At least 14 cities in Rio Grande do Norte experienced a night of shootings and fires in public buildings, businesses and vehicles, this Tuesday (14), reports the newspaper. G1 portalAccording to police, one person died in a confrontation with security forces and two others were arrested. The video above shows cars set on fire in a garage in Tibau do Sul.

In addition to the capital, Natal, the cities of Acari, Boa Saúde, Caicó, Campo Redondo, Cerro Corá, Jaçanã, Lajes Pintadas, Montanhas, Mossoró, Parnamirim, Santo Antônio, Tibau do Sul, and São Miguel do Gostoso were also targeted in attacks.

 Police did not say what the motives were for the attacks, but said they had increased police presence on the streets.
