As soon as we became aware of this regrettable incident, we immediately committed all efforts to investigate what happened and take all appropriate measures. The first and most fundamental of these was to proactively file a complaint of assault and bodily harm with the Civil Police, so that this unacceptable crime can be rigorously investigated. This complaint was registered electronically, with protocol number 2023/0000257096-0, and forwarded to the 12th Territorial Police Station - Itapuã. This measure reinforces our commitment to being tireless in the fight against any type of violence.

In a video showing the incident, it's possible to identify that the aggressor has a tattoo on his hand. Our internal investigations have revealed that no direct or indirect employee working at the unit has this tattoo. Even so, we cannot accept that a crime like this occurred on our premises. Therefore, yesterday we dismissed the leadership and prevention team of the store, reinforcing our zero-tolerance policy towards violence, including in management positions. We have also terminated the contract with the company responsible for security in the external area where the violence occurred. We take responsibility and have taken swift and decisive action.

It is unacceptable for anyone to be treated this way. It is a crime, which we do not condone. We are trying to contact Jamille and Jeremias to apologize personally, as well as offer psychological, medical, or any other necessary support.
