247 - In the search for fugitives from the Mossoró Federal Prison, a new clue emerged thanks to the action of stray dogs in the rural area of ​​Baraúna, Rio Grande do Norte. According to a report by Metrópoles, on the night of the 12th, the stray dogs showed unusual restlessness, drawing the attention of local residents, who promptly alerted the authorities. With the support of sniffer dogs, investigators confirmed that the pair had passed through the area, a discovery confirmed by the Minister of Justice, Ricardo Lewandowski, at a press conference on Wednesday (13).

According to the minister, there are indications that the fugitives are still in the vicinity of the prison. The Federal Police released composite sketches of the possible disguises adopted by the pair, who were last seen 11 days ago, says the source. Metropolis.

A witness, a caretaker at an agricultural shed in the Vitória Settlement, reported that the fugitives broke into the place in the early morning of the 3rd, assaulting him during the approach. The employee, who was alone at the time of the incident, described the criminals' clothing: one was wearing only shorts and a white cap, while the other was wearing shorts and a red shirt.
