Road violence decreases during the holiday.

The Federal Highway Police (PRF) recorded 36 accidents and one death during the Labor Day holiday; 28 people were injured in accidents on highways that cross the Federal District; the holiday was less violent compared to Holy Week, which had six deaths recorded.

Brasilia 247 – The Federal Highway Police (PRF) holiday operation recorded 36 accidents on highways leading to the Federal District. One fatal accident occurred on BR-070 towards Águas Lindas (GO), where a 22-year-old man died and two female passengers who were with him in the car were injured.

In total, 28 people were injured in accidents during the Labor Day holiday. The Federal Highway Police (PRF) reported a reduction in accidents compared to the Easter holiday, which saw 50 accidents, 45 injuries, and six deaths.

Police reported that data from last year's Labor Day holiday was not compared because the holiday fell on a Sunday. According to estimates from the Federal Highway Police (PRF), 100 people left the Federal District for this holiday.
