247 - A Draft with strategies for an attempted coup. in the country found this Thursday (12) by the Federal Police at the home of former Justice Minister Anderson Torres. "The State of Defense is hereby decreed (...) at the headquarters of the Superior Electoral Court, in Brasília", it says. "During the State of Defense, the following rights are suspended: (...) II - access to the premises of the Superior Electoral Court".

According to the proposal discussed by members of Jair Bolsonaro's government, the "Electoral Process Commission (CPE)" would be created. The majority of the entity's members would be from the Ministry of Defense (eight).

The Federal Public Prosecutor's Office and the Federal Police would each have two members on the CPE. Five other institutions would each have one member - the Senate, the Chamber of Deputies, the Federal Court of Accounts, the Attorney General's Office (AGU), and the Comptroller General's Office (CGU).

According to the draft, the Bolsonaro government's objective would be to conduct an "investigation into the conformity and legality of the electoral process."

In recent years, Bolsonaro has advocated for the participation of the Armed Forces in the counting of election results. One of his objectives was to convey the message that institutions of the Judiciary, such as the Supreme Federal Court and the TSE (Superior Electoral Court), were hindering the government.

Allies of Bolsonaro could become ineligible to run for office. because of the document found by the Federal Police.

During his administration, the former occupant of the Planalto Palace participated in acts in favor of a coup. Last Sunday (8), Bolsonaro supporters invaded Congress, the Planalto Palace and the Supreme Court. The police arrested around 1500 people - around 600 were released, but remain under investigation.

On Wednesday (11), Supreme Court ministers decided to uphold the decision of minister Alexandre de Moraes, which ordered the arrest of Torres, currently in the United States, and the removal of the governor of the DF, Ibaneis Rocha (MDB).
