Memory
In the last conciliation hearing held between the parties, the squatters claimed that many do not meet the criteria to be served by the Minha Casa, Minha Vida program or the GDF housing program [Morar Bem].
At the time, the GDF (Government of the Federal District) clarified that the families were registered in the government's housing programs, but only eight met the requirements. The majority did not meet the program's requirements because they had incomes higher than the program's limit, or owned other properties.
