247 - The leaders of the legislative houses and the Supreme Court met with the Minister of Health, Luiz Henrique Mandetta (DEM-RJ), to make the decisions that the Presidency of the Republic has not been making.

A report from the Folha de S. Paulo newspaper. It highlights that "at the request of the president of the Supreme Court, Dias Toffoli, and Minister Luiz Fux, the presidents Rodrigo Maia (Chamber, DEM-RJ) and Davi Alcolumbre (Senate, DEM-AP) received the Minister of Health, Luiz Henrique Mandetta, this Monday (16) to discuss measures regarding the new coronavirus pandemic."

The article further underlines that "on Sunday (15), Bolsonaro surprised everyone by appearing in Praça dos Três Poderes and, disregarding health orders since he was in isolation after having been in contact with infected people on his trip to the USA, fraternized with members of the demonstration. Throughout the day, he made posts supporting the protest."
