Do Lula's website -  Brasilia is already packed! Thousands of people have already arrived in the capital to celebrate the inauguration of President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, and many more are on their way to the biggest popular celebration in history. In common, they all bring joy, love, and hope for the reconstruction of democracy and Brazil. Find out what you can bring to Lula's inauguration party.

It will be an 18-hour celebration, with the participation of the largest number of international delegations in history – more than 70 delegations have already confirmed their attendance, surpassing even the Rio Olympic Games in 2016.

For the party to proceed safely, some rules need to be observed. Find out here everything you can't bring to Lula's inauguration.

  1.  Laser pointer or similar;
  2. Bladed weapons or any object that can cause injury, even if they represent work or cultural tools, such as: scissors, hammers, arrows, clubs, batons, drills, pocketknives, etc.;
  3. Toy guns, replicas, imitations, and any items that resemble firearms;
  4. Unauthorized tents, marquees, and similar structures of any size or type;
  5. Illegal drugs, according to Brazilian law;
  6. Stoves and similar appliances that use gas and/or electricity, provided they are authorized by the CBMDF (Fire Department of the Federal District).
  7. Fireworks and explosive devices;
  8. Flagpoles made from any type of material, whether or not they can be used to support flags, banners, etc.
  9. Electric shock devices;
  10. Sound devices such as megaphones and similar equipment;
  11. Flammable substances of any size or type
