The president of the Chamber of Deputies, Rodrigo Maia, participated in a meeting this Monday (9), which was cancelled on Tuesday morning (10) because one of the members of the organization presented symptoms suspected of being infected with coronavirus.

The president of the Chamber of Deputies, Rodrigo Maia (DEM), participated in the event that brought together around 500 people the day before the preventive cancellation.
The event was already scheduled to end on Wednesday (11), with the presence of the governor of São Paulo, João Doria, and the minister of the Supreme Federal Court, Dias Toffoli.
With the participation of a member notified with suspected infection by the new coronavirus, the meeting on Monday (9) was attended by the Secretary of the National Treasury, Mansueto Almeida, Senator Izalci Lucas (PSDB-DF) and other parliamentarians, as well as experts in the field of education and the president of the Chamber of Deputies himself, Rodrigo Maia (DEM).
