      PSC nominates Army general to head Funai.

      The party of the Temer government's leader in the Chamber of Deputies, André Moura, nominated General Peternelli for the position of president of the National Indian Foundation (Funai); this information was released by federal deputy Paulo Pimenta (PT-RS); "Peternelli was nominated by André Moura and Romero Jucá. He is a reactionary who intends to destroy the achievements and advances of indigenous policy," criticized Pimenta on Twitter; Peternelli was a candidate for federal deputy for the PSC of São Paulo in the 2014 elections, but was not elected; he is a defender of the military dictatorship.

      Brasilia 247 - The PSC party, led by André Moura, the Temer government's leader in the Chamber of Deputies, has nominated General Peternelli for the position of president of the National Indian Foundation (Funai). This information was released by federal deputy Paulo Pimenta (PT-RS). 

      "Peternelli was nominated by André Moura and Romero Jucá. He is a reactionary who intends to destroy the achievements and advances of indigenous policy," Pimenta criticized on his Twitter profile.

      General Peternelli ran for federal deputy for the PSC party in São Paulo in the 2014 elections, but was not elected. On his social media, he praises the military dictatorship and criticizes leftist ideology.
