Brasilia 247 - Congressman Luiz Pitiman visited today (28) the regional headquarters of the PSDB, in Asa Norte, and participated in the closing of the Preparatory Seminar for the party's pre-candidates, for the 2014 elections. Speaking to the pre-candidates, Pitiman used a metaphor to explain why he believes in the election of Aécio Neves to the Presidency of the Republic and in the election, by the PSDB, of at least four district deputies, two federal deputies and the governor of Brasília.

“The wind is favorable,” said Pitiman, recalling that when Tancredo Neves was elected and José Sarney took his place, the wind was good and that government elected the majority of the country's governors and mayors. Then, Pitiman continued, the wind brought the hunter of Maharajas, referring to then-President Fernando Collor. And the wind took him away.

Then, with the creation of the Real Plan, the wind turned in Fernando Henrique Cardoso's favor, who defeated Lula twice in a row. "Then it was the bearded one's turn, who came, stayed for eight years, won a majority in the Chamber of Deputies, and even managed to elect two puppets," Pitiman quipped.

According to the congressman, "the wind is now against the PT and in favor of the PSDB." He believes that Aécio is already reaching first place in Brasília. "And this same wind is what brought me to the PSDB," he said, emphasizing that today he is proud to say that he has a group, a party, and a candidate for president of the Republic.
