Brazilian Federal Police will deploy over a thousand officers to provide security for Lula's inauguration.

Adverse events have been monitored since the end of the elections, it was reported.

Agência Brasil/EBC - Security for the presidential inauguration will involve more than a thousand federal police officers. According to the Federal Police (PF), they will work in the areas of intelligence and protection of authorities and will be integrated into the Integrated Operations Center of the Public Security Secretariat of the Federal District.

The Federal Police also informs that it will operate with other security forces in support of the presidential inauguration events, in order to fulfill its legal duties and also to effectively guarantee the protection of the authorities under its responsibility.

"The protection of each authority figure involves a risk analysis, which indicates the appropriate level of protection and the security apparatus that will be made available. New facts are always taken into consideration and, if necessary, may lead to an eventual increase in protection and adjustments in the operational planning, which is dynamic," the Federal Police said in a statement.

In the statement, the Federal Police adds that it is also monitoring "the adverse movements and events since the end of the second round of elections, collecting data and acting in an integrated manner with other security forces." "Several reports are being produced, serving as advice to the leaders, in order to facilitate decision-making for the maintenance of public order," the statement concludes.
