247 - Supreme Federal Court (STF) minister Alexandre de Moraes mocked his colleague André Mendonça during the session in which the pardon granted by Jair Bolsonaro (PL) to former deputy Daniel Silveira (PTB) was withdrawn. The accounts were published this Thursday (4) in a report by the Uol portal.

In his vote, Mendonça stated that "voices from society" argued that the 8-year and 9-month prison sentence imposed on the then-parliamentarian was too harsh.

The minister cited an interview with political scientist Fernando Abrucio on... newspaper Estado de S. PauloIn which he assessed that the sentence was "a bit exaggerated." Moraes retorted: "Is Abrucio a lawyer?"

Mendonça mentioned former state representative Fernando Capez, saying he was a legal consultant and a "colleague" of Moraes.

The same judge also cited journalist Valdo Cruz and was mocked by Moraes. "Not a jurist either."
