BRASILIA (Reuters) - President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva stated this Thursday that Brazil's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) grew "3,5% or 3,7%" last year, adding that he will end his term "in an extremely positive situation."
Speaking to reporters at the Planalto Palace, Lula stated that this year is the most important of his term, as it will be when the government will "reap" everything it has accomplished in the previous two years.
