247 - Before meeting with the president-elect, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT), the president of the Chamber of Deputies, Arthur Lira (PP-LA), met with Jair Bolsonaro (PL) at the Alvorada Palace.
Lira and Lula's meeting is scheduled for 10 am this Wednesday (9), at the official residence of the Speaker of the House.
On Tuesday (8), Lira went to Alvorada to talk to Bolsonaro. He stayed there for 30 minutes and left without making any statements.
"Lira has been approached by members of the future government, who are seeking support for a Proposed Amendment to the Constitution (PEC) that would create space in the budget to pay for Lula's campaign promises, such as the R$600 Brazil Aid next year," reports the newspaper. The Globe.
