247 - Leaders from the progressive camp highlighted, this Wednesday (6), the importance of preserving Brazilian democracy in the face of the attempt by the government of US President Donald Trump to interfere in the investigation of the coup plot involving Jair Bolsonaro.

The act in the Chamber also served as a form of resistance to possible attempts to obstruct parliamentary activity. Bolsonaro-supporting politicians may try to hinder the progress of the House's work, with the aim of pressuring other parliamentarians to put amnesty for Bolsonaro and other coup plotters on the agenda.

The PT leader in the Chamber of Deputies, Lindbergh Farias (RJ), commented on the possible measures to be taken against parliamentarians who try to impede the progress of work in the House.
