Janot wants Cunha to return R$ 300 million to the Union.

Brazil's Attorney General, Rodrigo Janot, has already asked the Supreme Federal Court to order suspended congressman Eduardo Cunha (PMDB-RJ) to reimburse public funds in the amount of R$ 298,8 million, to compensate for amounts embezzled in corruption schemes at Petrobras and FI-FGTS, at Caixa Econômica Federal; Cunha, who declared assets of R$ 1,6 million to the Electoral Court, claims to be the target of persecution; the Attorney General also requests that another ally of interim president Michel Temer, former minister Henrique Eduardo Alves, return R$ 3,2 million.
